Gion Matsuri Festival!
•Posted on July 25 2018

Gion Matsuri Festival was held in Kyoto.
Gion Matsuri Festival is one of the three biggest festival in Kyoto. It's origins come from people trying to end to plagues in the ninth century.
The festival spans the entire month of July, which culminates in the procession of gorgeous yamahoko floats with decorative halberds parading through the main streets on the 17th.
The festival music“Ohayashi’’ played with traditional Japanese musical instruments reminds people in Kyoto of the approaching hot summer.
We also had fun at the Musubi store to see festival with good food!!
Enjoy your summer!
