Reinforcing the authenticity

Maison Hiroko is a Japanese tea and tea accessories company founded by the young entrepreneur Maelle. Also known as Yumiaouss in her role as a food influencer, she has built a community of more than 300,000 followers on Instagram, sharing recipes inspired by cuisines from around the world, with a particular affection for Japan.

Launched in December 2025, Maison Hiroko was born from a desire to offer an authentic yet modern approach of the Japanese tea ceremony and tea culture. The brand presents a carefully curated selection of exceptional teas sourced directly from producers Maelle met during her travels in Japan, alongside handcrafted tea accessories created by skilled artisans.

More than just a zero-waste packaging, a transmission of culture

In today’s world, packaging inevitably raises the question of sustainability. For Maison Hiroko, whose values are deeply rooted in sustainability, furoshiki naturally emerged as the ideal alternative to conventional wrapping.

More than just a sustainable solution, furoshiki echoes the value of the tea ceremony: the beauty of gesture, care, and elegance — creating art from the simple act of wrapping. “The connection between furoshiki and tea felt very natural to me.”

Tailor-made support

“I was very thankful to the Musubi team for proposing wrapping technique specifically designed for my products — for the matcha tin and for the tea accessories set. I was offered not only basic wrapping techniques, but also more advanced variations tailored to my products. It truly felt like tailor-made support.

I was initially unsure whether I would be able to wrap the furoshiki myself, but after the training I received during our meeting, my perspective completely changed. It felt like participating in a workshop. It was both inspiring and reassuring.”
