Nobuyuki Takai (高亁E信行!E/h2>
Nobuyuki Takai is a disciple of Takeshi Yamauchi who himself was a former disciple of Keisuke Serizawa, a dyer designated by Japan as a living natilnal treasure.
He is an expert in pattern dyeing and Tsutsu Gaki (one of the techniques of dye) and has won the Kokuten exhibition several times.
The traits of his design are lively lines and shapes.

The lively and uneven lines, originally carved by hand, offer the viewer a unique appearance. No two patterns are the same because of the hand-carved nature of the original work.
The stripe design along the border is designed so that tying knots will give different expressions to the furoshiki.
LINEN
Linen fabric prevents germs and mold from growing because it has four times hygroscopic (moisture absorption) nature that cotton does while also being fast-drying. The result is the prevention of bad odors. It is said that line is the most durable of all the natural fibers.
The linen used is form France -French linen-and has the lovely feature which gives it a crisp feeling. The fabric is thin and also easy to use as a scarf.
※Please note, the laundry symbol care instructions says "dry clean." Line is likely to shrink when washed.
