Changes of Yumeji Takehisa
Our popular “Takehisa Yumeji” series has been updated.
To thank our customers for their continued support, We have added charming new designs and upgraded the packaging to a more premium look.
We hope you enjoy the improved experience and the fresh new look.
1.Release Schedule Update
We are pleased to introduce a total five new patterns to the collection:
- Four new patterns for in the L size collection (90 Takehisa Yumeji)
- One new pattern in S size collection (48 Takehisa Yumeji)
The release of the new Takehisa Yumeji series products is scheduled to begin from January 2026 onward.

2.Packaging Update for Takehisa Yumeji S Size
The popular S size of the Takehisa Yumeji series has been updated with new packaging and now comes with a paper band.
The added paper band gives the product a more premium look.
Through this packaging upgrade, we aim to further enhance customer satisfaction.
Accordingly, the packge and price have also been revised.

The Water-repellent recycle are disappearing... To reborn as Water-repellent Re-Free
The L size furoshiki, as you know them, will gradually be phased out as current stock runs off and will be replaced by a more environmentally friendly version.
The design and fabric (55% recycled polyester) will remain unchanged, but the coating will be updated to a more sustainable alternative.
The new water-repellent coating is PFAS-free, developed without the use of fluorinated compounds in consideration of both human health and environmental impact.
Compared to conventional fluorine-based treatments, the water repellency power has slightly diminished. However, this is a conscious choice to reduce the burden on the environment and people.
With a commitment to long-lasting reliability and environmental responsibility, we are proud to introduce this new generation of Water-repellent.
