Hare tsutsumi
The representative colors are red and white, or gold and silver, for Japanese prosperous events. It was symbolically designed as a wrapping cloth to celebrate Hare no hi. This expression includes several important japanese traditional seasonal festivities such as New Year. The color and composition are additional features of this series.
This Furoshiki's charm lies both in its beauty when spread out or used as wrapping.
'Hare tsutsumi' is spread to 'Katami gawari,' 'Ichimatsu,' or 'plum' patterns. They often feature bold designs. The contrast of red and white, or alternating navy and white, is modern and elegant. Please use Hare no hi as an opportunity for important life events and seasonal gift-giving.
