We were in London to set up Japan House London Christmas Display !
In November 2025, our CEO, Ms. Yamada, and our International Sales Officer, Ms. Bobin, traveled to London to create the Christmas window display for Japan House London.

We were delighted to install our famous Furoshiki Tree in the heart of Kensington. After several online meetings, we finalized a design that would harmonize with the shop’s refined aesthetic while still capturing the warmth and spirit of the Christmas season. It was essential for us to ensure that the display complemented the atmosphere of the store, originally designed by renowned spatial designer Masamichi Katayama.

We chose a clean and structured composition to attract the attention of people passing by. To our great pleasure, the display immediately caught the eye of many visitors—several stopped to admire it, take photos, and share the moment.

Overcoming the Language Barrier with Furoshiki!
Ms. Yamada held a Furoshiki workshop directly in the shop, open to everyone who wanted to try out this traditional Japanese art.
Despite the language differences, all participants were able to create beautiful wrappings and left feeling ready to present their gifts in a sustainable and original way for the coming holiday season.

The event was followed by a signing session, during which Ms. Yamada signed copies of the Furoshiki Handbook, written by her sister. Participants also had the opportunity to have their names written in Japanese using a traditional calligraphy pen.
