The patterns are arranged in a hezagonal pattern following the lines of the leaves. In this design, you see the leaves and tortoiseshell at the same time.

By changing the wrapping method and the position of the object, this furoshiki can look like a red furoshiki or a white furoshiki.
By wrapping it with the colors and patterns you want to show, you can make it look like a different furoshiki.
The hemp leaf represents "health growth, protection from bad luck" and the tortoise shell represents "long life and good health".
